Good Bye to the Captain

Made you look didn't I? Of course I don't mean DJ. I mean the clown in Boston who had to have a big bold C on his Jersey. I guess he felt that was the only way anybody would know he was the Captain. Of course any real Yankee Fan would know better. The C really stood for "Clown". After all Varitek was the head ringmaster for all of those clowns playing for the Red Sux.

The Joker

It is so good to see exactly how Bobby V. is starting what will be his short tenure for the Red Sux. First he gives his dopey press conference when they sign him. He was all over the map (must have had a few). The he bans booze in the clubhouse. Why is that so that brawls don't break out between him and his rag tag team? And then of all the stupid things to do, he questions DJ on "the play" where he assists is getting Giambi out at the plate in the playoffs.

AJ

So today is March 1st. I think it is time for me to end my hibernation. Even down to the last days AJ stuck it to us. We could have gotten what I think would have been a decent DH in Abrea BUT NOOOO, AJ's wife is afraid to fly so he vetoed the trade. We don't appear to have gotten much unless of course you count the big plus of getting rid of this bum once and for all. And now for his new team he goes and fouls a ball off of his face and will need surgery. So much for being the # 1 stater for the Pirates. The good thing for AJ is that now his excuse won't be that too many people have tinkered with him but that he can't see or focus on the strike zone. Good bye and good riddance to bad rubbish!!!!!

Man up

Cheap trick by a certain worm of a shortstop playing for the cross town triple A team in Queens. If you want to win the batting title win it like a man. Asking your manager to take you out of the lineup after you get a bunt single....come on now!!!!

Music to my ears....

Glug, glug, glug...the sound the Red Sux are making......now we just need to get our act together and snap out of our own malaise.
